Learning Resources - Python Pathÿ Word-Ending Game
Reviews
Editorial Reviews
Kids slither along the snake path and score points for the number of words they make. Pre-readers piece together initial consonants with hard endings.
Kids can follow the python from head to tail--and learn new words along the path--in this simple phonics board game. The four animal game pieces (a lion, a kangaroo, an elephant, and a koala bear) are made from rubber and fit nicely on top of a pencil when not in use. Players roll the four special word-ending dice and try to use them with the letters on the board to create whole words. If a player lands on a Toucan Space, he or she gets to roll twice. The player with the most words wins. The board measures 17 by 12 inches. --Richard Farr
