I recently stumbled across this book on Amazon while trying to search Christian books that focused on having confidence. I'm so glad I bought it! It has really touched me and reignited my faith in Christ. I'm reading the Bible scriptures more, praying to God daily and now I have Confidence in Christ! Thank you, Joyce for teaching God's word to all of us. I will be reading many more of her books in the future.

This book was lent to me and after reading several chapters, I decided I wanted my own personal copy. It is a well written book that helps you examine your relationships with yourself, with God, and others. This is a useful tool in learning how they are all interconnected. Would recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand their relationships.

In reading this book, I find myself looking to my Lord and making corrections to my self-image. I recommmend this book to everyone.

I started reading this book at a major transition in my life. My best friend had just died at age 49, I had just been laid off from a job of 14 years, I was forced to move to a new city to start a new job and leave my wife and infant child during the week. This new job was very stressful and I stayed awake staring at the ceiling. I spent many nights in the temporary hotel room wondering what was going on. Then I started reading this book. For me it was a little slow starting out, but when I read the chapters on Grace, Favor, and Mercy, it rocked my world. Then, I think the next chapter was on Faith. It was like God opened the windows of heaven.

There have only been a few books that have totally changed my life outside of the Word of God; The Greatest Miracle in the World by Og Mandino, Drawing Near by John Bevere, and now this book. I pray that it helps you as much as it did me.

I have found this book to be so very eye opening to myself and the Sunday school class I facilitate of 60 women. There are so many nuggets of wisdom on how we are wired for God by God to have relationship with Him that we miss because we don't see who He has made us to be. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a deeper understanding of the Word of God concerning our relationship with ourselves.
